Waterford railway station (Plunkett Station) is located across Rice Bridge on the north side of the city at Terminus St, Mountmisery, Co. Waterford.
Waterford bus station is also in the city located at Merchants Quay.
From here you can get a taxi to the hotel, the journey is approximately 10 minutes.
It is approximately a 12 minute drive from Waterford city to the Viking Hotel.
Take New St and Barrack St to Morrisson‘s Rd/R686
Turn right onto Morrisson’s Rd/R686
Take Paddy Browne‘s Rd to Cork Rd/R680
- Turn right onto Cork Rd/R680
- Turn left and the hotel will be on the right.
The M9 is located approximately 8 minutes by car from the hotel.
- Take N25 to R710 in Waterford. Take the R710 exit from N25.
- Head southeast on Quarry Roundabout toward M9
- Exit the roundabout onto N9
- At Grannagh Junction Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the N25 ramp to Cork/Waterford (South)/R710/Airport
- Merge onto N25
- Take the R710 exit toward Waterford (South)/R675/Tramore/Airport
- Continue on R710 to your destination in Waterford
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto R710
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on R710
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Cork Rd/R680
- Turn right and the hotel will be on the right.
